  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insight. I love scripture referring to being caught up to our Heavenly Father. I look so forward to that day and hour. My husband and I lost our daughter, Jordan, on March 27, 2015. She was 28, leaving behind a 4 year old son and her husband. Her death was unknown. Her dad met a woman less than 2 months later whom we thought was wonderful for 2 years. Since their marriage 2 years later (now 2 years ago) our lives have been drastically changed but not for the better. We will never experience the relationship we had with our son in law in the positive manner it was before the marriage. Our grandson has essentially been taken away from us except for the limited court ordered time we was able to mediate after being in court the entire first year of their marriage. His wife would not allow mediation in the beginning. Talk about how death changes our lives. I’m not sure of the purpose for all of this heartache but I’m sure there is a purpose.

    1. Thank you, Nora, for taking the time to read my blog post. There is so much really good information available from which to choose, it truly humbles me when someone reads my work. While we do not yet have grandchildren, I can only imagine how incredibly difficult it must be for you and your husband to be unable to be with your grandson except on a very limited basis. There are some things we may never understand on this side of Heaven, but like you, I am sure there is a purpose; and ultimately, though it may not seem to us at this time to be good, it will be for our good and for His glory. Hugs to you.
